For Year 12 Physics and Chemistry: one 3-hour lesson a week working through the course alongside school, in person at 558 Pacific Highway, St Leonards on Saturdays. Sit your first two lessons before you decide. If the class suits, the term price covers them and every lesson after; if it does not, there is nothing to pay.

One class per course
Physics and Chemistry each run as their own class of at most 6 students, so every lesson covers material from the student’s own exam, taught at the level it is examined.
Physics
Advanced mechanics including projectile and circular motion, electromagnetism, the nature of light from electromagnetic waves to special relativity, and from the universe to the atom.

Both classes run in person at 558 Pacific Highway, St Leonards on Saturdays, one after the other. Each is 3 hours of teaching with a 15-minute break, in our quiet, distraction-free rooms, working through problems on the board with written work marked on the spot.
One price for the whole term
One price covers all 8 lessons, and you have 2 lessons to decide before you pay. After that it is $1,500 for the term. Pay up front, after the first lesson or after the second. The price is the same for every course. Join after the term has started and you pay only for the lessons left.

How the first two lessons work
Your first two lessons are regular weeks of the class. You decide afterwards whether to stay.

Your child joins the class as it runs, working through that week’s content and past-paper questions with the other students and receiving feedback on their own work.

Each class follows one course through a set term plan, week after week.

Each course follows a term plan written for it alone, so every lesson is spent on what the student will be examined on.

Each lesson consolidates what school has just covered and gets ahead of what is coming, so understanding builds steadily through the year and the final months can go on revision.

Questions about the classes
Who are these classes for?
Students sitting the HSC in 2027, in one of the two courses above. In NSW, Year 12 coursework starts in Term 4 of Year 11, so this term is the start of the HSC year. Other year levels and subjects are taught one-on-one, across Years 1 to 12.
How many students are in a class?
At most 6, in every course, so the tutor can check each student's working during the lesson.
Do I pay for the first two lessons?
Only if you stay. The term price covers every lesson, the first two included. Pay up front, after the first lesson or after the second. If the class is not right after two lessons, you pay nothing.
Can I join partway through the term?
Yes. Classes run every week through the term, so you can start whenever suits and still have two lessons to decide before you pay. You pay only for the lessons left: the term price is split across its 8 lessons and rounded down to the nearest $100. Tell us which course you are in and we will let you know what the class has covered so far. Joining from Week 7? Those lessons revise all of Module 5, so it is the right time to join before school exams.
What if I miss a week?
Tell us as early as you can and we will send the session notes and homework, so you can catch up before the next lesson.
